What is RSI Heatmap?
The Relative Strength Index (RSI) is one of the most widely used technical indicators in the cryptocurrency markets. RSI is a momentum oscillator that measures the speed and direction of price movements, typically calculated over a 14-period time frame. The resulting value ranges from 0 to 100 and allows investors to visually track overbought and oversold zones in the market.
An RSI value above 70 indicates that an asset has entered the overbought zone and may be due for a short-term correction. Values below 30 signal oversold conditions and may suggest that the price has the potential to recover. The mid-range level of 50 is often considered a critical threshold where market momentum tends to shift direction.
The RSI Heatmap enables the simultaneous visualization of this indicator across different cryptocurrencies. Warm colors (such as shades of red) highlight assets approaching overbought levels, while cool colors (blue and green tones) indicate oversold conditions. This visual representation helps investors quickly identify which coins may carry short-term risks and which ones may present potential opportunities.
Additionally, the RSI Table on this page shows RSI values across multiple timeframes (15 minutes, 1 hour, 4 hours, 1 day, 1 week). This allows investors to analyze not only the immediate outlook but also how the trend is evolving in the short and medium term.
