Binance Alpha has decided to remove seven tokens from its featured list following recent reviews. The decision covers PTB, AA, OWL, DORA, ELIZAOS, MEMES, and 哭哭马. However, users will still be able to sell and withdraw these assets.
In its October 23 announcement, Binance said the projects failed to meet Alpha’s standards. The platform scheduled the removal for October 23 at 09:30 UTC. The seven tokens will therefore lose their place among Alpha’s featured assets.
The announcement concerns Binance Alpha’s featured list. Binance did not announce a suspension of sales or withdrawals for these assets. It also shared the menus and steps users can follow to continue their transactions.
Which tokens is Binance Alpha removing?
Binance’s list includes seven tokens from different projects. The platform listed the token symbols and project names as follows:
- PTB: Portal to Bitcoin
- AA: ARAI
- OWL: Owlto Finance
- DORA: DORA
- ELIZAOS: elizaOS
- MEMES: memes will continue
- 哭哭马: 错版马
Binance based its decision on recent assessments. The company said these tokens did not meet Alpha’s standards. However, the announcement did not provide individual reasons for each project.
The notice therefore does not explain which criteria each project failed to meet. Binance also disclosed no project-specific technical problems or security breaches. Its stated justification remained limited to compliance with Alpha’s standards.
The company reiterated its commitment to supporting innovation and transparency. It also identified user protection as a priority. For updates, Binance directed users to Binance Wallet’s official X account.
Sales and withdrawals will remain available
The key detail for users is that access to their assets will continue. Binance confirmed that users can still sell and withdraw the tokens after their removal. The change to Alpha’s list therefore leaves the transaction channels outlined in the notice open.
Users wishing to withdraw tokens can open the “Asset” tab and select “Alpha” in Binance. They can then tap “Withdraw” and choose the relevant token. Binance outlined this route for withdrawals.
Users wishing to sell can also access “Alpha” through the “Asset” tab. They need to select the relevant token, followed by “Instant” and “Sell.” This keeps a selling option available for assets leaving the featured list.
Those using Binance Wallet can navigate to the “Market” tab. From there, they can search for the relevant token and select “Trade.” The company included this option in its announcement.
The notice does not specify a separate deadline for sales or withdrawals. Users can monitor Binance’s official channels for subsequent changes. The instructions reflect the guidance available when the announcement was published.
Binance warns of high volatility
Binance also highlighted the risks associated with Alpha tokens. The company said these assets may carry higher-than-normal risks. It also reminded users that prices could experience significant volatility.
The platform urged users to research projects and apply appropriate risk management before trading. The notice also opens with a general warning about scams and fund security. However, Binance made no specific fraud allegations against the seven projects.
This distinction matters when assessing the scope of the decision. The announcement says the tokens failed to meet Alpha’s standards, without providing project-specific findings. It therefore offers no basis for assuming every token faces the same technical or financial problem.
Binance also noted that products and services may vary by region. The options available to users may depend on their location. The notice does not guarantee access to the same services across all regions.
The change affects the seven tokens’ visibility on Alpha’s featured list. Users can continue selling and withdrawing through the channels Binance outlined. Official announcements remain the source for further updates regarding these projects.
