Binance Alpha Removes 14 Altcoins From Featured Token List

Binance Alpha has removed 14 altcoins from its featured token list. The decision affects several projects, including MTP, BDXN, TALE, BOS, and SAROS.

Binance said the decision followed its latest reviews. According to the exchange, the 14 tokens no longer meet Binance Alpha’s standards.

The decision took effect on September 4 at 11:30 a.m. TRT. However, users can continue to sell or withdraw the affected tokens.

Which altcoins did Binance Alpha remove?

According to Binance’s official announcement on September 4, a total of 14 tokens were removed from the Alpha list.

The affected projects are:

  • MTP (Multiple Network)
  • BDXN (Bondex Token)
  • TALE (PrompTale AI)
  • BOS (BitcoinOS)
  • MAIGA (Maiga.ai)
  • TIMI (MetaArena)
  • SAROS (Saros)
  • U (Union)
  • SERAPH (SERAPH)
  • RVV (REVIVE)
  • AIAV (AI Avatar)
  • PENGUIN (Nietzschean Penguin)
  • ODOS (Odos)
  • SN3 (Nebula3)

Binance did not provide a separate reason for each project. Instead, the exchange said its latest reviews found that the tokens no longer met Binance Alpha’s standards.

The platform also emphasized its continued commitment to innovation and transparency. User protection was cited as another key consideration in the review process.

The tokens have not been completely removed from Binance

The decision is different from a traditional Binance delisting. Binance Alpha operates as a discovery platform within Binance Wallet, giving users access to early-stage crypto projects.

Therefore, removal from the Alpha list does not mean that a token has been delisted from the Binance Spot market.

Binance also confirmed that users can continue selling the removed assets. Withdrawals through Binance Alpha will remain available as well.

Users can withdraw the affected tokens by selecting the relevant asset from the Alpha section. They can also sell the tokens using the “Instant” feature.

Supported transactions will remain accessible through the Markets section of Binance Wallet.

Binance Alpha regularly reviews listed projects

Projects available on Binance Alpha undergo regular reviews. Tokens that fail to meet the platform’s criteria can be removed from its featured asset list.

Tokens featured on Alpha generally include crypto projects at an earlier stage of development. As a result, these assets may carry greater risks and experience higher price volatility.

Binance also highlighted these risks in its latest announcement. The platform warned that Alpha tokens may carry higher-than-normal risks and experience significant price fluctuations.

Being featured on Binance Alpha also does not guarantee a future Binance Spot listing. Likewise, removal from Alpha does not automatically mean that a token will be delisted from Binance’s main spot market.

Following the latest decision, MTP, BDXN, TALE, BOS, MAIGA, TIMI, SAROS, U, SERAPH, RVV, AIAV, PENGUIN, ODOS, and SN3 have lost their featured token status on Binance Alpha.
