South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Bithumb announced plans to introduce Korean won trading pairs for Bedrock (BR) and Dolphin (POD). The exchange’s October 6 announcement outlines the listing schedule and supported transfer networks for both tokens.
Trading Times Announced for BR and POD
According to Bithumb’s official announcement, BR/KRW trading was scheduled to open on October 6 at 10:00 UTC, followed by POD/KRW at 11:00 UTC. The exchange noted that opening times could be delayed depending on liquidity conditions.
BR transfers are supported on BNB Smart Chain, while POD transfers use Base. Bithumb said deposits through other networks would not be supported; BR deposits require 15 network confirmations, while POD deposits require 200.
The exchange set reference prices at 590 won for BR and 1,086 won for POD. These figures do not represent the first executed trade prices; Bithumb uses reference prices as the starting point on charts on the listing day.
Temporary Order Restrictions Apply at Launch
Under the listing rules, buy orders are restricted for the first five minutes. During the same period, sell orders priced at least 10% below or at least 100% above the reference price are also restricted.
Only limit orders are available for approximately two hours after trading begins. Bithumb also said it planned to enable deposits and withdrawals within two hours of publishing the announcement.
Bedrock Develops Bitcoin-Focused Yield Products
Bedrock is a decentralized finance project built around staking and restaking products. Its current documentation describes a transition under Bedrock 2.0 toward a system that directs Bitcoin capital across different yield sources.
Bedrock’s official website highlights products such as uniBTC and brBTC. Through these products, the platform aims to give users access to Bitcoin-related yield opportunities, including DeFi strategies, institutional credit, and market-based returns.
BR serves as the project’s governance token. According to Bedrock DAO documentation, users can lock BR to receive veBR, allowing them to participate in decisions about protocol incentives and reward distribution.
The project’s tokenomics documentation lists a total supply of 1 billion BR. It also specifies an initial circulating supply of 210 million BR, equivalent to 21% of the total; this figure refers to the token’s circulation at launch.
Following the listing announcement, Bedrock gained nearly 25%.
Dolphin Focuses on Distributed AI Infrastructure
Dolphin works on artificial intelligence model development and distributed inference services. The project overview in LBank’s official POD listing announcement describes Dolphin Network as a decentralized AI inference network.
The project aims to bring idle GPU capacity from gamers and other graphics card owners into the network. Participants’ hardware provides computing power by processing a portion of the network’s AI requests.
According to the document, the network combines encryption, randomly sampled verification, and economic bonding mechanisms to maintain its integrity. This model aims to bring hardware from different users together into a shared computing service.
