Altseason generally refers to a period when the prices of other cryptocurrencies increase compared to Bitcoin.
During this period, investors increase their interest in alternative crypto assets, and a significant increase is usually observed in the prices of these assets. Altseason refers to a period in the crypto market when alternative cryptocurrencies (altcoins) generally exhibit high performance and a stronger growth trend than Bitcoin. These periods usually occur when the price of Bitcoin is relatively stable or trending sideways. Altcoins can provide higher returns than Bitcoin and therefore investors may turn to altcoins. Altseason is generally considered a period of increased overall investment and interest in the crypto market and can present growth and value increase opportunities for altcoin projects. During altseason, prices of altcoins usually rise rapidly and trading volume in the crypto market increases.
