Coinbase and Binance Announce Decisions Affecting 4 Altcoins as Prices Fall
Coinbase and Binance announced new decisions affecting four altcoins. Coinbase will suspend trading for Balancer (BAL) and Tensor (TNSR) on November 9, while Binance has added Biconomy (BICO) and Civic (CVC) to its Monitoring Tag list. All four tokens posted daily losses around midday on October 9, with CVC recording the steepest decline. The exchanges’ decisions differ in scope. Coinbase is preparing to remove trading support for two tokens, while Binance’s designation places BICO and CVC under closer review.Coinbase to suspend BAL and TNSR tradingAccording to Coinbase’s official announcement dated October 8, trading for BAL and TNSR will be suspended on November 9, 2026, at approximately 2 p.m. ET. The decision covers Simple and Advanced Trade on Coinbase.com, as well as Coinbase Exchange and Coinbase Prime. The exchange said the decision followed its latest reviews against its listing standards. However, it did not provide separate reasons for either project.Coinbase has moved its BAL and TNSR order books to limit-only mode during the transition. Users can place limit orders, cancel existing orders, and have orders matched when conditions allow. The removal of trading support will not end users’ access to their holdings. Coinbase confirmed that BAL and TNSR balances will remain accessible and withdrawals will continue.Binance adds BICO and CVC to its monitoring listIn its October 9 announcement, Binance said it had applied the Monitoring Tag to BICO and CVC. The designation covers tokens that exhibit higher volatility and risk compared with other listed assets.Projects carrying the tag undergo regular reviews. Assets that fail to meet listing standards may face removal from the exchange in the future.Binance’s review criteria include team activity, the quality of development work, trading volume, and liquidity. Network security, public communication, and significant changes to token supply also factor into its assessments. However, the exchange did not disclose which criteria led to BICO and CVC being placed under monitoring. The announcement included no confirmed delisting schedule for either token and stated that other related services would remain unaffected. All four altcoins decline, with CVC posting the largest lossPrice data recorded at approximately 12:19 p.m. Turkish time on October 9 showed BAL trading at $0.1269409, down 2.51% over the previous 24 hours. Its low and high during that period were $0.100992 and $0.130145, respectively.BAL’s seven-day loss reached 5.95%. Its 30-day performance remained positive at 14.21%, preserving its monthly gain despite the daily and weekly declines.TNSR, the other token affected by Coinbase’s decision, traded at $0.0365142 after falling 4.45%. Tensor’s 24-hour price range stood between $0.0349286 and $0.0384659.BICO, which Binance added to its monitoring list, recorded a daily loss of 2.19%. Its price fell to $0.0197279 after trading between $0.018658 and $0.0203656 over the previous 24 hours. CVC recorded the largest daily loss among the four tokens. Civic traded at $0.0248619, down 9.11%, with a 24-hour price range of $0.0241333 to $0.0275695.

Binance Alpha to Remove 14 Tokens from Its Featured List
Binance has announced that it will remove 14 tokens from the list of featured assets on its Alpha platform. The decision covers SUP, CUDIS, PYTHIA, BLUM, KIN, DN, GAIA, STRIKE, CDL, KO, VRA, EPT, SLX, and CAI. According to Binance’s schedule, the removal takes effect on October 9 at 08:00 UTC.The exchange said its latest reviews found that these tokens no longer met Binance Alpha’s standards. However, users will still be able to sell or withdraw the affected tokens after their removal.Which tokens is Binance Alpha removing?Binance’s announcement listed 14 projects. The affected tokens and their project names are as follows:Superp (SUP)CUDIS (CUDIS)PYTHIA (PYTHIA)Blum (BLUM)Kindred Labs (KIN)DeepNode (DN)Gaia (GAIA)StrikeBit AI (STRIKE)Creditlink (CDL)Kyuzo’s Friends (KO)Verasity (VRA)Balance (EPT)SLIMEX (SLX)CharacterX (CAI)The announcement changes these assets’ status on Binance Alpha’s featured token list. It should therefore not be interpreted as a general delisting announcement covering trading pairs on Binance’s spot market. The notice contains no information about the closure of spot trading pairs or the termination of futures contracts. Binance limits the scope of the decision to removal from the Alpha list and separately explains the options available for selling and withdrawing existing holdings.Sales and withdrawals will remain availableUsers holding these tokens on Binance Alpha will still be able to withdraw their assets after the removal. To do so, they need to open the “Asset” tab, go to the “Alpha” section, select “Withdraw,” and choose the relevant token.Users who wish to sell can open the token’s page in the same section. From there, they can select “Instant” and then “Sell.”Binance also provided a route for users who want to trade through its wallet. They can open the “Market” tab in Binance Wallet, search for the relevant token, and access the trading screen.Removal from the Alpha list therefore does not mean users will completely lose access to their holdings. The announcement specifically states that both sales and withdrawals will remain available after the decision takes effect.Binance did not provide a separate deadline for these transactions in the notice. Users can follow the access routes outlined in the announcement and monitor subsequent updates.Binance cites Alpha standardsBinance attributed the list changes to its latest reviews. However, the announcement did not provide a token-by-token explanation of which criteria the projects failed to meet. The notice alone does not establish that any particular project has suffered a security breach, engaged in misconduct, or ceased operations. The stated reason remains limited to Binance’s general assessment that the assets do not meet its Alpha standards. The company said it would continue to support innovation and transparency while prioritizing user protection. It also directed users to Binance Wallet’s official X account for further information and updates.Warning over high volatilityThe announcement also warned that Alpha tokens may carry higher-than-normal risks. Binance said these assets could experience significant price volatility and urged users to research projects before trading. The notice did not include data on the affected tokens’ price performance or market movements following the decision. It therefore does not establish that any specific price movement has occurred in these assets.Binance also noted that the announcement is a general notice and that some of the products and services mentioned may be unavailable in certain regions. For existing token holders, the key point is that selling and withdrawing will remain possible despite the change to the Alpha list.

Samsung to Bring USDC Support to 82 Million Galaxy Devices
Samsung is preparing to offer international USDC transfers through Samsung Wallet to eligible Galaxy users in the United States. Scheduled to launch in the last week of October, the service will cover 82 million devices compatible with Samsung Wallet. Users will be able to send money from their phone’s wallet app to supported crypto wallets and eligible bank accounts abroad. The new feature brings stablecoin transactions into Samsung’s existing mobile payment experience. Users will not need to download a separate crypto app or manage their own private keys. However, they will need to register an account and complete identity verification to access the service.USDC transfers on Solana are comingAccording to the Solana Foundation, Samsung Wallet and Samsung Pay will support stablecoin transactions on Solana. Samsung Wallet users in the United States will initially be able to send money across borders using USDC.The integration will work through the same interface users rely on to manage their cards and other digital documents. Fiat on- and off-ramps, which allow conversion between traditional currencies and stablecoins, will also be part of the experience.Users will therefore be able to send money without switching between different apps. Solana’s infrastructure will support transactions behind the scenes, while users complete the transfer process through Samsung Wallet. The Solana Foundation views the integration as a development that could expand the use of stablecoins for everyday money transfers. The project focuses on bringing blockchain infrastructure into a payment interface that smartphone users already know.Coinbase and Bastion will provide custody infrastructureBastion and Coinbase will support the service’s custody and money movement infrastructure. According to Samsung, Bastion will use Coinbase as its sub-custodian, with USDC assets held in Samsung Wallet protected through Coinbase Prime Vault. In its own announcement, Coinbase said Samsung Wallet users will see USDC as the default dollar stablecoin when adding funds to their stablecoin balances. The company will use Coinbase Prime, its platform for institutional clients, to provide custody for the integration.USDC is a stablecoin designed to maintain a one-to-one value with the U.S. dollar. Coinbase’s announcement highlights that the asset is backed by cash and short-term U.S. Treasury securities, with monthly attestations published for its reserves. The new service also expands the existing partnership between Samsung and Coinbase. Samsung Pay was previously added as a payment option in the Coinbase app, while eligible Galaxy users gained access to Coinbase One benefits through Samsung Wallet.Coinbase says Samsung’s extensive device reach creates an important distribution channel for USDC. In the company’s view, the integration could help stablecoins reach a broader audience for cross-border money transfers.Fees will differ for wallet and bank transfersSamsung said it will not charge fees for USDC transfers to compatible external wallets. However, recipient wallet providers or exchanges may impose their own fees, while transaction speeds will depend on blockchain network conditions.Different terms will apply to transfers to bank accounts. The service will support transfers to eligible bank accounts in more than 60 countries, allowing recipients to receive funds in their local currency.Fees for these transactions will vary depending on the destination country and the amount sent. The app will display the fee and estimated delivery time before the user confirms the transfer. The fee-free terms announced for wallet transfers therefore do not extend to all international bank transfers. The service will initially be available to eligible U.S. residents aged 18 or older. Users will need a Samsung account, a compatible Galaxy device running Android 13 or later, and biometric authentication enabled.Samsung also said it may explore online and in-store stablecoin payment options in the future. Expansion into other markets will depend on local regulatory conditions.

U.S.-Linked Wallets Transfer $103 Million in Crypto as Bitcoin Falls
Cryptocurrency wallets linked to the U.S. government returned to the spotlight after transferring more than $103 million worth of Bitcoin and BNB. According to information based on Arkham data, roughly $71.6 million in Bitcoin reached Coinbase Prime deposit addresses through intermediary wallets, while $31.6 million in BNB moved to unidentified wallets. The transactions coincided with Bitcoin’s decline below $84,000. Although no sale has been confirmed, rising oil prices and a stronger dollar also contributed to pressure on the crypto market.Bitcoin reaches Coinbase Prime as BNB moves to unidentified addressesWallets labeled by Arkham as linked to the U.S. government transferred a total of 833.599 BTC. The Bitcoin, worth approximately $71.6 million at the time, initially moved to two addresses that the platform had not associated with any organization.Within hours, those addresses forwarded the assets to wallets Arkham identifies as Coinbase Prime deposit addresses. The Bitcoin’s route therefore led to the institutional trading platform, although the purpose of the transfers remained unclear.Around 568.7 BTC came from funds labeled as forfeited in the Potapenko and Turogin case. The remaining 264.9 BTC came from assets seized during the investigation into the Bitfinex hack.A separate wallet movement also drew attention on the BNB side. A wallet linked to assets seized from Alameda Research sent approximately 40,285 BNB to an unlabeled address; the recipient then transferred all the tokens to a second unidentified wallet. The combined value of the two assets reached approximately $103.2 million at the time of the transfers. While the Bitcoin reached Coinbase Prime, the identity of the final BNB recipient remained unclear in the available on-chain information.Transfers do not confirm a saleMoving a large amount of cryptocurrency to a trading platform can fuel expectations of a sale. However, movement between wallets alone does not establish that a sell order was placed or a transaction completed.U.S. policy on Bitcoin holdings makes this distinction particularly relevant. The executive order signed by President Donald Trump on March 6, 2025, provides for a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve funded with eligible Bitcoin that has been finally forfeited to the government. The order stipulates that Bitcoin deposited into the reserve should be held without being sold. However, it includes exceptions for court orders, restitution to victims and certain legal obligations, meaning that reserve policy alone cannot explain every movement involving government-linked wallets.Assets other than Bitcoin fall under a separate digital asset stockpile. That framework gives the Treasury management options that may include sales; nevertheless, there is no verified information showing that the latest BNB transfer represents a sale.Oil and dollar pressures accompany Bitcoin’s declineBitcoin traded at around $86,600 on Tuesday before dropping below $84,000 on Wednesday. At the time of writing, its price had fallen to approximately $83,640. There is insufficient evidence to attribute the decline solely to transfers from U.S.-linked wallets. Over the same period, oil prices rose amid tensions in the Middle East, while higher U.S. Treasury yields and a stronger dollar added pressure on risk assets.Selling also spread to altcoins. Dogecoin fell approximately 5%, Ethereum declined 3.5% and XRP dropped nearly 3%, with BNB and Solana also posting losses. The market’s attention now turns to the minutes of the Federal Reserve’s September meeting. Investors are watching for signals about the future path of interest rates, while movements in the dollar and Treasury yields remain relevant to Bitcoin’s direction.

Russia’s Largest Bank Receives Approval for Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT Services
Russia’s largest bank, Sberbank, has obtained digital depository status to provide crypto asset services. The bank plans to initially offer products for Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH) and Tether (USDT), targeting December 1, 2026, for its first product launches. The launch schedule remains dependent on the readiness of implementing regulations governing the market. The Bank of Russia’s October 6 announcement marked an important step in establishing the country’s regulated crypto market. The regulator announced that it had added the first five digital depositories and four cryptocurrency exchange providers to its respective registers. What services does Sberbank’s new status cover?According to the Bank of Russia, digital depositories can maintain records of crypto assets and digital rights and facilitate their transfer. They can also provide clients with access to the blockchain addresses where those assets are recorded.Sberbank’s new status allows it to provide these services under regulatory supervision. The bank has therefore secured the authorization needed to offer new services through which clients can manage their crypto assets using its recordkeeping and transfer infrastructure.According to registry information reported by Interfax, VTB, Atomyze, Voltari and Cloud Infrastructure joined Sberbank among the first digital depositories. VTB also entered the register of cryptocurrency exchange providers, alongside Zefir, Sistema Crypto and T-Invest Lab.Existing apps will support Bitcoin, Ethereum and USDT servicesIn its October 5 application announcement, Sberbank said it would initially focus on BTC, ETH and USDT. According to the bank’s statement quoted directly by Finam, customers will not need to download separate apps or use new access channels. The bank aims to bring crypto transactions into the banking interfaces its customers already use. Customer identification, transaction monitoring and reporting will form part of the service.Sberbank also said it was technically ready to launch. Under its plan, the bank will conduct test transactions with a limited group of customers after obtaining its status, allowing it to assess transaction processes before a wider rollout.Although December 1, 2026, is the target date for the first products, the bank had made the schedule conditional on regulatory approval and the readiness of implementing regulations. Admission to the register completes the application stage, while regulatory preparations remain relevant to the product launch.Retail investors face testing and annual purchase limitsRussia’s new regulatory framework, which took effect on September 1, allows both qualified and non-qualified investors to conduct crypto transactions through intermediaries. According to the central bank’s official statement, non-qualified investors must first pass a knowledge test. These investors will be able to purchase the most liquid crypto assets up to an annual limit of 300,000 rubles through each intermediary. Qualified investors will also need to pass a test, but they will face no monetary limit and will have access to a broader range of crypto assets. The framework brings banks, brokers, asset managers and new crypto service providers into the same market infrastructure. Foreign stablecoins are subject to the same rules as cryptocurrencies. However, using cryptocurrency to pay for goods and services within Russia remains prohibited. The new framework expands investment and trading channels while also allowing exporters and importers to use crypto for cross-border payments. The central bank emphasized that registered entities must comply with transaction and recordkeeping rules from the date of their registration. Entities admitted under the transitional provisions must bring their operations into compliance with the relevant legal requirements by September 1, 2027.

What Is Niu Lai (牛来)?
A small calf from an animated film finding its way onto crypto exchanges may sound unusual, but that is exactly how Niu Lai’s story begins. As clips from the Chinese film spread across social media, its name connected with the crypto community’s hopes for a bull market and inspired a meme coin on BNB Chain. Niu Lai (牛来) shows how humor, a shared story, and investor interest can come together around a token. Understanding the project means looking at its supply, trading venues, and community, alongside the curiosity surrounding the film.Niu Lai’s Definition and OriginsNiu Lai is the romanized form of the Chinese expression “牛来.” The name roughly means “the bull is coming,” echoing the bull symbol associated with rising financial markets. This association plays an important role in the token’s identity. In Chinese-speaking crypto communities, the name evokes the arrival of a bull market, connecting a reference from the film with an expectation investors already recognize. For meme coins, a memorable name that is easy to share can help a project gain recognition. Niu Lai’s short name and bull imagery give it an accessible starting point. However, the name’s bullish connotations carry no promise about the token’s price. The optimism of the story and actual trading conditions need to be considered separately. From Animated Film to Meme CoinThe token draws inspiration from the Chinese animated film Niu Lai, which follows a calf’s growth and dreams. Created over approximately five years by director Xin Yumeng and his mother, Sun Lifang, the film attracted attention on social media for its unusual visuals and storytelling.Scenes from the film found a new audience as internet users shared clips and added their own commentary. The initially mocking attention helped the film build an audience and reach a wider public. The project’s introduction also connects the token’s origins with the film and the name’s association with a bull market. Niu Lai became another example of an internet joke inspired by cinema finding an audience in crypto. Its Structure on BNB ChainNiu Lai is a BEP-20 token on BNB Smart Chain. Transfers and wallet balances operate through its smart contract on that network; the project does not have a separate blockchain.BNB Smart Chain provides infrastructure compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine. This allows users to hold tokens in compatible wallets and interact with supported applications.Network fees for on-chain transactions are paid in BNB. Users holding Niu Lai in a personal wallet therefore need enough BNB on the same network to cover transfer or swap fees.Because token names and logos can be copied, the contract address is essential when identifying an asset. Searching only for “Niu Lai,” particularly on decentralized exchanges, may return unrelated tokens with the same name.Using tokens held on a centralized exchange also differs from using them in a personal wallet. The exchange handles orders placed through an exchange account, while users authorize swaps from a personal wallet themselves. For example, someone sending Niu Lai from an exchange to a wallet selects the supported network and enters the recipient’s address on the withdrawal screen. The receiving wallet must support the same network; if the token does not appear automatically, users can add it as a custom token using the correct contract address.Displaying a wallet balance and granting an application permission to spend tokens are separate actions. An approval requested during a swap may allow an application to use a specified amount of tokens, making both the allowance and the application’s address important.Niu Lai’s History and Key MilestonesNiu Lai began attracting attention in the crypto market in August 2026, around the same time interest in the film was growing. Community members launched the token through Flap, a platform in the BNB Chain ecosystem.Flap starts a token’s early trading through a bonding curve. Under this model, trades change the price and accumulated liquidity according to predefined rules; once the necessary conditions are met, the token can migrate to a decentralized exchange. This type of launch can create different entry costs for early participants and later buyers. An investor entering after the token reaches a wider audience may encounter prices far removed from those available during its earliest trades. The token’s launch date and an exchange listing date therefore need to be distinguished. The day an exchange opens trading marks the token’s availability on that platform, rather than its first transaction on the blockchain.Exchange Listings and Community GrowthKuCoin announced that Niu Lai spot trading would open on August 19, 2026. The listing covered the 牛来/USDT pair and transfers through the BSC-BEP20 network.BingX subsequently announced a trading schedule for 牛来/USDT on August 21, 2026. These listings added new ways to access the token through centralized exchange accounts.KuCoin then announced a Niu Lai perpetual futures contract with up to 10x leverage, scheduled to launch on August 31. This expanded the token’s market presence to derivatives alongside spot trading.Binance also plays an important role in Niu Lai’s listing history. The token joined Binance Alpha on August 18, 2026, making it available through the platform before its KuCoin and BingX listings.Binance Futures launched a USDT-margined Niu Lai perpetual contract on August 30, 2026. Offering up to 10x leverage at launch, the 牛来USDT contract allowed traders to take positions on either rising or falling prices.Binance subsequently opened spot trading for 牛来/USDT and 牛来/USDC on September 9, 2026, with the Seed Tag applied. The spot listing ended Niu Lai’s display on Alpha and allowed users to move their tokens into spot accounts, extending its Binance journey across Alpha, futures, and spot markets.Spot and futures markets serve different purposes. A spot purchase gives the user the token, while a futures trade creates a position tied to price movements; leverage magnifies both gains and losses.A listing can put a token in front of more people. However, a growing number of exchanges does not, by itself, show that the community is expanding at the same pace or that the price will rise sustainably.Price History and Notable MovementsNiu Lai’s price history includes movements across a wide range within a short period. Market data shows a tracked all-time high of $0.1624 and an all-time low of $0.01055. A token trading below its peak is not necessarily undervalued. The previous high reflects demand at that time; returning to the same level requires sufficient buying interest and liquidity. When tracking Niu Lai’s price, trading volume, the bid-ask spread, and market depth therefore matter together. What Is Niu Lai Used For?Trading and the community culture surrounding the film sit at the center of Niu Lai’s use. The project describes itself as a meme coin, with the film’s recognition contributing to that identity.Holding a token like this can be a way to participate in a shared joke or community identity. Some people connect with the visuals and story, while others focus on how growing attention might affect its price. These motivations do not always move in the same direction. A character can attract widespread discussion on social media while demand for the token remains limited; rising prices can also draw people who are interested only in short-term trading. For that reason, social media activity should not be treated as a substitute for market demand. A widely viewed video alone does not show that new wallets are appearing or that existing investors continue to hold their tokens.Part of Niu Lai’s appeal lies in how a cultural story is reinterpreted around a financial asset. For the project’s staying power, what matters is how that story develops after the initial wave of curiosity.Token Supply and DistributionCoinGecko lists Niu Lai’s total, maximum, and circulating supply at 1 billion tokens. This indicates that the entire tracked supply is in circulation. The project’s introduction states that there was no presale or team allocation. It also specifies a 1% tax on purchases and a 1% tax on sales, which can affect the cost of on-chain transactions. Circulating supply, however, does not show how evenly tokens are distributed among investors. Even if all 1 billion tokens are in circulation, a large share could be concentrated in a small number of wallets.Likewise, having no initial team allocation does not prevent particular individuals from later buying substantial amounts on the market. Understanding distribution requires examining the largest wallets and what those addresses represent.Exchange wallets need particular attention here. Treating one exchange address holding assets for many customers as a single investor’s personal account can create a misleading impression of concentration. It also helps to consider supply alongside price. With 1 billion tokens, a price of $0.10 implies a market capitalization of approximately $100 million; a low price per token does not necessarily mean a low valuation.Uses and Investment RisksBuying Niu Lai provides no entitlement to film revenue or ownership in the production company. The community website also makes no official connection between the token and the film studio’s financial activities.A central consideration when assessing the token is how long buyer interest lasts. As online conversations move on, attention to the same story can fade, potentially leading to selling pressure and thinner liquidity.Liquidity becomes particularly important during rapid price movements. Even if an investor sees a particular price on screen, part of a sale may execute at lower prices when the order exceeds the available bids.Pool size also matters for swaps on decentralized exchanges. The same sale can have a larger price impact in a smaller pool, while transaction taxes and network fees affect the amount the seller ultimately receives.Leveraged trading adds another layer of risk. Even if the price later recovers, a brief move against a position can leave insufficient margin and trigger liquidation.Assessing Niu Lai as an investment therefore requires more than looking at its popularity. A user’s tolerance for volatility, position size, and ability to exit under prevailing market conditions all matter.Niu Lai’s Developers and CommunityNiu Lai was started by community members whose identities have not been publicly disclosed. The film’s director and production team are not part of the token’s founding team. This distinction is necessary to understand the project’s origins. A crypto community formed around a cultural work’s name and characters may represent a separate organization from the people who created that work. With an anonymous team, evaluating experience, responsibilities, and long-term commitments becomes more difficult. The contract’s operation and consistency of public communication consequently take on greater importance.A social media account’s large following does not verify the developers’ identities. Statements made on behalf of the project should also align with exchange announcements and the relevant contract address.Social Media and Community ParticipationParticipation in meme coin communities often takes the form of images, short videos, comments, and shared slogans. Niu Lai’s film connection provides recognizable characters and an origin story for this type of content.Follower counts alone offer a limited view of community strength. The quality of replies, contributions from different users, and continued communication during price declines can provide a more meaningful picture.Repeated copies of the same message differ from people discussing a project and creating new material. Assessing organic participation requires looking beyond the community’s behavior during market rallies.A community focus does not automatically give token holders governance rights. Without a formal voting mechanism, expressing an opinion on social media and participating in binding project decisions remain separate activities.Claims that a project is “community-run” therefore need to be considered alongside actual authority. Who manages communication channels, how decisions are announced, and who can implement changes all help define the limits of participation.Expectations for the Project’s FutureThe roadmap on Niu Lai’s website uses humor to describe community visibility and listings. It does not provide a comprehensive technical development schedule tied to specific dates. Assessing the project’s future therefore requires separating stated ambitions from completed developments. Opening a new trading venue is a concrete event, while an anticipated listing circulating within the community does not yet carry the same weight.Over the longer term, the participation that remains after the initial curiosity surrounding the film matters. New content, active users, and accessible markets are among the factors to watch together.Price gains cannot replace those indicators. A strong short-term rally does not prove lasting community commitment, just as a quieter period alone does not show that all interest has disappeared.Niu Lai’s story illustrates how quickly internet culture can find an audience in crypto. Its future will depend on the persistence of that interest, token distribution, and trading conditions.Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)Below are some frequently asked questions about Niu Lai and their answers. What is Niu Lai (牛来)?: Niu Lai is a meme token on BNB Smart Chain inspired by the Chinese animated film of the same name. Coinbase Adds 2 New Altcoins to Its Listing Roadmap
Coinbase has added Pons (PONS) and Whuffie (WHUF) to its listing roadmap. The exchange’s official page lists PONS under the Robinhood network and WHUF under Base. The update signals preparations to support trading in both tokens, with a separate announcement required before trading begins.Market data checked on October 6 showed PONS at $0.4086, up 3.4% over the previous 24 hours. Live pricing and daily percentage changes were not yet available for WHUF.What does Coinbase’s official announcement say?Coinbase uses its official listing roadmap to publicly disclose assets it has decided to list. The exchange aims to provide more equal access to information throughout the listing process. The page includes network details and smart contract addresses for PONS and WHUF. These details help investors distinguish the tokens from other assets using the same name or ticker. However, inclusion on the roadmap does not mean transfers and spot trading have opened. Coinbase waits until sufficient technical infrastructure and market-making support are in place before launching trading; it says the launch announcement will appear on X.The exchange also emphasizes that listings may face delays or cancellation. It reiterates that sending assets to Coinbase accounts before official support is announced could result in a permanent loss of funds.PONS retains weekly losses despite daily gainsAccording to CoinGecko data available at the time of writing, PONS traded between $0.3646 and $0.4126 over the previous 24 hours. At approximately $0.4086, the token was trading near the upper end of that range. The same dataset showed daily trading volume of approximately $34.62 million and a market capitalization of $277.76 million. The circulating supply stood at approximately 680 million PONS. However, the daily gain did not offset losses from previous days. PONS remained down 25.7% over the past seven days, leaving its weekly performance negative despite the short-term recovery. These figures cover the previous 24 hours and seven days. Since they do not separately measure the minute-by-minute movement before and after the announcement, the entire 3.4% gain cannot be attributed to Coinbase’s update.Pons provides token creation and trading services on Robinhood Chain. According to the project’s official documentation, users approve transactions directly through their own wallets; the platform does not hold user funds. The protocol also uses revenue to buy back PONS and sends the purchased tokens to a burn address. While this mechanism reduces supply, the documentation notes that burning tokens alone does not guarantee a price increase.Daily price changes are not yet available for WHUFWhuffie is the Ethos protocol’s token, trading under the ticker WHUF. At the time of writing, market tracking tools displayed the asset’s page in “preview” mode and indicated that pricing data would become available later. The tracking platform also reported that WHUF was not yet available for trading on the exchanges it covers. As a result, a verified spot price or a daily gain linked to Coinbase’s announcement could not be reported.Ethos aims to measure users’ credibility and reputation on the blockchain. Its official documentation identifies reviews, linked social accounts, and users backing one another with tokens as core elements of the system.WHUF supports economic activities such as vouching, fees, bonds, and rewards. The project states that the total supply is fixed at 10 million tokens and that all protocol fees are burned.

BlackRock Outlines a New Scenario for Bitcoin and Stablecoins: The AI Economy
BlackRock said artificial intelligence agents could become a new source of demand for digital assets. According to the firm, stablecoins could take the lead in automated payments, while Bitcoin could serve as a long-term store of value.“The Machine-Native Economy” report, shared in BlackRock’s October 5 website article, examines the economic relationship between AI and blockchain. The firm highlights how software performing increasingly independent tasks could require programmable payment infrastructure.Stablecoins could lead AI paymentsAI agents are systems capable of completing multiple tasks toward a specific goal with limited human intervention. As these systems purchase data, access software services and rent computing power, they also need ways to make payments.According to BlackRock, blockchain networks could provide suitable infrastructure for very small transactions repeated throughout the day. Stablecoins’ price stability could make it easier to price services and plan payments.Figures cited by the firm show that stablecoins’ total circulating market capitalization exceeded $300 billion as of September 2026. Adjusted transaction volume surpassed $11 trillion in 2025.BlackRock sees this scale as an existing foundation for the AI economy. It also notes that traditional payment systems will remain important in agents’ interactions with businesses and consumers.A store-of-value scenario for BitcoinThe report’s Bitcoin discussion draws on research conducted by the Bitcoin Policy Institute. In controlled simulations, AI models preferred stablecoins for everyday payments and Bitcoin for long-term value preservation.BlackRock explicitly states that the findings reflect simulated model responses rather than observed real-world transactions. The research therefore does not show that agents are currently accumulating Bitcoin. The firm views these findings as preliminary evidence pointing toward a possible monetary structure in which stablecoins function as a means of payment and Bitcoin serves as a store of value.Automated payments could increase blockchain usageThe report also highlights Coinbase’s x402 protocol. This infrastructure enables software to initiate payments for data or services and access the requested resource once payment has been verified.According to BlackRock, increased activity on permissionless blockchain networks could generate demand for network capacity and validator services. However, the extent to which a network’s native cryptoasset benefits will depend on design features such as transaction fees and staking.Computing power could become a digital asset marketBlackRock also identifies the computing capacity required by AI as a potential market for digital assets. Standardized capacity contracts could allow rights to computing resources to be traded and used in financing arrangements. In such a market, agents could compare resources by price and performance before purchasing what they need. However, the firm emphasizes that agent-driven payments and liquidity in computing capacity markets remain limited.

What Is MarsCoin (MARSCOIN)?
The idea behind MarsCoin is simple: hold a meme coin and earn rewards in another token. Built around a Mars theme, MARSCOIN runs on BNB Chain and funds SPCXB rewards through fees collected on purchases and sales. The project combines interest in space with tokenized stocks, offering a reward model tied to trading activity. What MarsCoin Is and How It BeganMarsCoin is a meme token built around Mars and space exploration. The project describes itself as a “stock coin,” highlighting its connection to a tokenized asset called SPCXB. Distributing SPCXB to eligible MARSCOIN holders is one of its defining features. The MarsCoin name has been familiar to the crypto community for years. A social media exchange between Elon Musk and Binance founder Changpeng Zhao in February 2021 helped bring it to a wider audience. The current BNB Chain project draws on the attention generated by that conversation and the broader fascination with Mars. That exchange does not mean MARSCOIN launched at the time. Several projects have used the MarsCoin name; this guide covers the BNB Chain token that uses Flap’s infrastructure and offers SPCXB rewards. The project’s approach creates an incentive to hold the token. Trading activity funds the rewards vault, while users with qualifying balances can receive distributions. Interest in the token therefore feeds into both its trading market and its reward system. The Connection to BNB Chain and FlapMarsCoin runs on BNB Smart Chain and uses Flap’s token creation infrastructure. Flap allows developers to launch tokens and direct trading fees toward different purposes, including reward distributions. For MarsCoin, this works by channeling trading fees into a rewards vault. BNB Chain provides the network where transactions take place, while Flap supports the project’s trading and vault mechanisms. The token’s own rules determine how that infrastructure is used. The vault is the smart contract structure at the center of the system. Funds collected from users’ transactions accumulate there and support reward distributions. Understanding MARSCOIN therefore involves looking at how the vault is funded alongside the price chart. How It Differs from Other Marscoin ProjectsThe project most easily confused with MarsCoin is MARS, which launched in 2014. That older project has its own blockchain, uses a Scrypt-based Proof of Work mechanism, and has a total supply of approximately 39.57 million coins. MARSCOIN on BNB Chain is a separate token with a different economic model. The distinction also matters when looking at historical price data. MARS’s earlier price movements, mining structure, and development history do not describe MARSCOIN. One project’s years of operation do not give the other the same track record.MARSCOIN’s contract address on BNB Chain is 0xfe189e97832da1573e4e4ff034f4ffc3a15c7777. In wallets, block explorers, and decentralized trading platforms, this address distinguishes the token from other assets with the same name.MarsCoin’s History and DevelopersMarsCoin’s history on centralized exchanges can be traced through listing announcements from the summer of 2026. MEXC announced July 30, 2026, as the start date for MARSCOIN/USDT trading, with withdrawals scheduled for the following day at the same time. This listing is a documented milestone in the project’s expansion onto exchanges. The exact date the token was created and the time of its first on-chain transaction are less clear. The July listing therefore marks its entry into centralized markets.MEXC’s announcement already highlighted trading against SPCXB and distributing rewards from a vault. This shows that the reward mechanism was a core feature in the project’s early exchange introductions. The next major listing announcement came from Gate. The exchange announced that MARSCOIN spot trading against USDT would open on August 27, 2026. Its conversion service for the token was also scheduled to launch that day.Binance added MARSCOIN to its spot market on September 4, 2026, with USDT, USDC, and TRY pairs. According to Binance Academy, the token had been available through Binance Alpha before its spot listing. Binance also applied the Seed Tag, which identifies projects that may experience higher volatility.KuCoin announced September 5, 2026, as the start date for MARSCOIN/USDT trading. These announcements, spanning July through September, show an increase in the number of centralized platforms offering access to the token.Centralized exchange pairs allow users to trade MARSCOIN against assets such as USDT. Its SPCXB pairing on Flap forms part of the project’s on-chain model. Fees and reward arrangements can differ between these two trading environments. What Is Known About the Team and CommunityPublic information about MarsCoin’s founding team is limited. The official website does not provide a detailed team profile covering the developers’ names and professional backgrounds. A specific individual therefore cannot be identified as the founder with confidence. One of the project’s community communication channels is the @bnbMarsCoin account on X. The official website also emphasizes community participation, although it provides less detail about how responsibilities are divided within the team. This is one of the information gaps to consider when assessing MarsCoin. Knowing who is responsible for technical decisions and contract management is particularly relevant to following the project’s long-term development. How Does MARSCOIN Work?MARSCOIN has a total supply of 1 billion tokens. This figure appears in MEXC’s listing announcement. Available sources do not include a detailed allocation table showing the shares reserved for the team, private investors, and community.Supply also affects how the price should be interpreted. If all 1 billion tokens were circulating, for example, a price of $0.10 would imply a market capitalization of $100 million. A low price per token therefore does not necessarily mean a low overall valuation.Token ownership is a separate consideration. Large wallets can matter for potential selling pressure, but an exchange custody address may contain the combined balances of many users. The size of an address does not always reflect the holdings of a single investor.MARSCOIN’s reward threshold is another factor to consider alongside supply. Even if the required number of tokens stays the same, the cost of reaching that balance changes with the price. A rising price can make participation more expensive, while a falling price allows the same number of tokens to be purchased for less. The SPCXB Connection and Reward SystemMarsCoin is paired with SPCXB on Flap. The project describes SPCXB as a tokenized version of SPCX on BNB Chain and distributes it to MARSCOIN holders as a reward. Users therefore hold one asset and receive rewards in another. MarsCoin's three parts. This distinction directly affects return calculations. As MARSCOIN’s market price changes, the value of accumulated SPCXB can change too. A user’s total holdings depend on both their MARSCOIN balance and the current value of the rewards received.A trading pair is an exchange of one asset for another. Trading MARSCOIN against SPCXB does not mean the two tokens have equal prices or move by the same percentage. Their exchange rate can change with market conditions.Tokenized stocks bring exposure to a traditional asset’s price onto a blockchain. How the underlying asset is held and which rights the token holder receives can vary by product. The claim that SPCXB has one-to-one backing comes from the project; its reserves and custody arrangements require separate verification.Trading Taxes and Distribution RulesUnder MarsCoin’s stated model, purchases incur a 3% charge and sales incur another 3% charge. These funds support the SPCXB rewards vault, with a stated minimum balance of 10,000 MARSCOIN for automatic distributions. Manual reward claiming is also available through Flap. Here, “trading tax” refers to the charge built into the token’s mechanism. It does not describe a payment to a public authority or a user’s personal tax obligations. The charge on token purchases and sales finances the reward model. These deductions create a cost, particularly for frequent traders. In a simplified example, deducting 3% from 100 units leaves 97; deducting another 3% from the remaining amount on sale leaves 94.09. Even with no price change, the combined effect is a 5.91% reduction.Flap’s general reward infrastructure can include minimum balances, distribution thresholds, and automatic triggers. Qualifying for a reward and receiving it in a wallet may therefore happen at different stages. The exact rules for MarsCoin depend on its vault and contract settings.Rewards for MARSCOIN held on an exchange depend on that platform’s arrangements. For example, MEXC’s September 16–October 14, 2026, campaign offers reward sharing subject to identity verification and an average holding of at least 1,500 MARSCOIN; payments are converted into futures bonuses. These terms differ from automatic SPCXB distributions to a personal wallet. The Meme Coin and Tokenized Stock ModelMarsCoin stands out for connecting interest in a meme token with rewards paid in another asset. The space theme shapes its branding, while trading charges provide an economic incentive to hold the token. This adds expectations of rewards to expectations about its price. The model links traders with holders. Transactions subject to the trading tax fund the vault, while qualifying balances benefit from distributions. The continuity of rewards therefore depends on sustained trading activity. This structure does not provide a fixed monthly income. Market activity, the total balance eligible for rewards, and the value of the distributed asset can all change over time. A payout during an active trading period may not reflect returns during a quieter one.The currency used to measure rewards also affects the result. The amount of SPCXB in a wallet can increase while its dollar value falls, and the reverse is also possible.Looking only at the number of tokens distributed also leaves out buying and selling costs. The full return becomes clear only when these elements are considered together.Earning rewards does not necessarily mean the overall position is profitable. If a MARSCOIN holding initially worth $1,000 falls to $800 while generating $30 in rewards, its total value is $830. In this hypothetical example, the rewards offset only part of the price decline. Is There a Connection to SpaceX or Elon Musk?Elon Musk and the Mars theme feature prominently in MarsCoin’s story. However, there is no verified announcement that Musk developed this token or that SpaceX is an official partner. The earlier social media conversation did not announce such a partnership.Buying MARSCOIN does not give the holder equity in SpaceX. It provides neither voting rights in the company nor direct ownership. The project’s connection through SPCXB does not change that distinction. The rights attached to a tokenized product depend on its issuer’s terms. Price tracking, custody protections, and shareholder rights are separate features. MarsCoin’s space-themed branding should therefore not be read as a promise of company ownership.Price Volatility, Liquidity, and SustainabilityMarsCoin’s price can respond to community interest and broader market movements. Sharp gains can attract new buyers, while moves in the opposite direction can increase selling pressure. Trading charges add another cost on top of these price changes. At the time of writing, MARSCOIN is trading at around $0.11. For the reward model, the key variable is the funding flowing into the vault. With other conditions unchanged, lower trading volume subject to the tax can reduce the new funds collected for distribution. This follows from the fee-funded structure; past payouts cannot be assumed to continue at the same level.Liquidity determines how easily the token can be bought and sold. Even if the last traded price looks attractive, a large sale may execute at lower prices when there are too few buyers. In decentralized pools, order size can also create a gap between the quoted price and the amount received. The cost of a trade may therefore extend beyond the 3% charge. Depending on the platform, network fees, bid-ask spreads, exchange commissions, or withdrawal fees may also apply. Trades recorded internally by a centralized exchange should not automatically be assumed to incur the same on-chain tax on every order.Developments affecting SPCXB also matter to MARSCOIN holders. A decline in the reward token’s price or liquidity can reduce the monetary value of the rewards received. Users therefore face risks associated with the reward asset as well as MARSCOIN’s own price. Finally, the system depends on the token and vault contracts functioning correctly. Limited information about the team, combined with insufficient detail about contract management and security, increases uncertainty. Assessing MarsCoin’s reward model involves considering the source of returns, the costs, and these technical conditions together.Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)Here are answers to some common questions about MarsCoin. What is MarsCoin, and when did it launch?: MarsCoin is a meme token on BNB Chain that offers SPCXB rewards to holders with qualifying balances. Its centralized exchange history includes a MEXC listing dated July 30, 2026; information about the exact date the token was first created is limited.Who developed MarsCoin?: There is no detailed, publicly available introduction to the project’s founding team.Which network does MARSCOIN use?: MARSCOIN runs on BNB Smart Chain. It is a separate project from MARS, which launched in 2014 and has its own blockchain. How do MARSCOIN holders receive rewards?: SPCXB is distributed from a vault funded by trading charges. The stated threshold for automatic rewards is 10,000 MARSCOIN; reward arrangements on centralized exchanges depend on each platform’s terms.Does buying MarsCoin mean buying SpaceX shares?: No. MARSCOIN provides no direct ownership or voting rights in SpaceX. Receiving SPCXB rewards does not make a MARSCOIN holder a shareholder in the company. Is MarsCoin a suitable investment?: MarsCoin carries risks associated with price volatility, trading charges, and the reward asset. Since it does not offer fixed returns, its suitability depends on an individual’s investment goals and ability to bear those risks.Follow the JR Kripto Guide series to understand MarsCoin’s SPCXB rewards, token economics, and developments across the BNB Chain ecosystem.

What Is Capricorn (APR)?
Being able to use the crypto you have set aside for staking in another DeFi application at the same time changes how you put your capital to work. Capricorn combines a liquid staking service that offers this flexibility on Monad with liquidity pools and infrastructure for coordinating order flow. To understand the project, formerly known as aPriori, it helps to distinguish three components: APR, its ecosystem token; aprMON, which represents staked MON; and Capricorn Exchange, which provides trading liquidity. What Capricorn Is and How It StartedCapricorn is a DeFi project developing liquid staking and decentralized trading infrastructure. Previously operating as aPriori, the team announced on July 29, 2026, that it was bringing its products under the Capricorn brand following its acquisition of CapricornDEX. The APR ticker remained unchanged. This history explains the different names readers may encounter when researching the project. Older funding announcements use aPriori, while current technical documentation appears under Capricorn Tech; references to aPriori in earlier documents therefore point to a previous stage of the same project. On the product side, the rebrand brings staking and exchange services together within a shared structure. The capital base formed by users’ staked assets connects with liquidity that can be used in DeFi transactions. The Project’s Purpose and Its Relationship with MonadCapricorn starts from a practical problem: even on a fast blockchain, users can face expensive or inefficient trades. A transaction may settle within seconds while the gap between buying and selling prices remains wide; limited pool liquidity can also increase costs as trade sizes grow. The team approaches this problem by considering validators, liquidity providers, and traders together. Its official introduction identifies Capricorn Exchange and aprMON as the two main products within this structure.Monad is the project’s primary development focus. The team sees high throughput and low latency as conditions that can support more sophisticated on-chain market-making systems, so it aims to grow its products within the Monad ecosystem first. The relationship matters: Monad is the underlying blockchain, while Capricorn develops services on top of it.Founding Team and InvestorsThe project’s 2025 funding announcement identifies Ray Song as its founder. Investor Pantera Capital’s team overview lists Ray as CEO and Olivia as CTO.According to Pantera, Ray worked on special projects at Jump Crypto and gained high-frequency trading experience at Flow Traders. Olivia previously served as a senior software engineer at Coinbase, working on distributed systems and infrastructure requiring high availability. That experience is reflected in Capricorn’s product choices. The team focuses on questions such as which pool should receive an order, how quickly prices should update, and which trades could expose liquidity providers to losses.Investors include Pantera Capital, Arrington Capital, and HashKey Capital. Capricorn’s History and Key MilestonesIn 2024, aPriori publicly shared its work on MEV and liquid staking infrastructure for Monad. The team’s research published on July 1, 2024, examined transaction-ordering models across different blockchains and how they could be adapted to Monad. On July 25, 2024, the project announced an $8 million seed round led by Pantera Capital. Including an earlier round led by Arrington Capital, total funding reached $10 million. At the time, the team said it would use the new capital to expand its workforce, support security work, and grow its community. Its development agenda included staking and transaction-ordering systems tailored to Monad’s architecture.A $20 million strategic round announced on August 28, 2025, brought total funding to $30 million. Participants included HashKey Capital, Pantera Capital, Primitive Ventures, and IMC Trading. The APR Token LaunchThe team introduced APR in an official post dated October 22, 2025. The initial distribution targeted groups including community members, early aprMON users, and participants who contributed to the project’s data initiatives.According to Binance’s announcement, APR began trading on Binance Alpha on October 23, 2025. The APRUSDT perpetual futures contract launched on the same day. These two products work differently. Buying and selling tokens through Alpha and opening a position on price movements in the futures market involve different assets and risks.A Binance announcement published under the Capricorn name on August 14, 2026, described a two-round Alpha trading competition. That date should therefore not be treated as APR’s initial launch date or its first day of trading on Binance Alpha.Capricorn Exchange and Ecosystem DevelopmentOne significant step in the project’s trading infrastructure was Swapr, introduced on July 26, 2025. The team described this DEX aggregator as a system that evaluates transaction characteristics and routes trades to suitable liquidity sources.Swapr’s design considers trade size, the wallet or interface used, historical trading behavior, and market conditions. The aim is to distinguish the risks facing liquidity providers more effectively and offer tighter spreads for suitable trades.A follow-up article published on August 6, 2025, explained the role of community data in this process. The team said it planned to use relationships between wallets and transaction patterns to train its models, giving community participation a role in technical development. The move to the Capricorn brand followed these developments. Current product documentation emphasizes liquid staking and exchange pools, while the earlier Swapr articles help explain the team’s focus on order flow. How Does Capricorn Work, and What Is It Used For?Liquid staking represents a user’s economic claim on staked assets through a token that can be used in other transactions. This allows users to maintain a staking position while participating in supported DeFi applications. On Capricorn, users deposit MON and receive aprMON in return. The protocol distributes deposited MON across selected validators; aprMON represents the user’s share of the staking vault and their claim on accumulated rewards.aprMON does not distribute rewards by increasing the number of tokens in a user’s wallet. As rewards accumulate, the amount of MON represented by each aprMON increases, while the user’s aprMON balance can remain unchanged. For a simplified example, assume a user holds 100 aprMON. If those tokens initially represent 100 MON and later represent 103 MON after rewards accumulate, the user still sees 100 aprMON in their wallet; the 3% increase in this example only illustrates the mechanism and does not indicate an actual yield. This change in MON value does not guarantee a profit in dollar terms. If MON’s market price falls, the position’s dollar value can decline even while staking rewards accumulate; aprMON’s exchange price may also differ from its theoretical value in the vault.Exiting the position involves a separate step. According to the developer documentation, users first submit a withdrawal request and receive MON once it becomes claimable; although the documentation generally anticipates a 12–18-hour wait, users should check the application’s current conditions before transacting.Trading Through Capricorn ExchangeCapricorn Exchange provides liquidity through two different pool models. Proactive AMM, or PAMM, pools update their pricing using oracle price feeds; Capricorn CL pools allow liquidity to be concentrated within specific price ranges. An oracle is a data source that brings external price information into an on-chain application. The PAMM model uses this information to bring buy and sell quotes closer to prevailing market conditions. In a CL pool, liquidity providers choose the price range within which their capital will be active. When the market moves outside that range, the position stops earning a share of trading fees and can become entirely composed of one token in the pair. For example, choosing a narrow range can concentrate the use of capital while the price stays within it. If the price moves away from that range, the user may need to monitor and adjust the position; providing liquidity therefore requires different oversight from simply holding tokens in a wallet.According to the official documentation, CL positions are represented by NFTs, and trading fees do not automatically compound into the position. Users can claim accumulated fees separately. There is also an important detail about access: the reviewed trading documentation states that Capricorn Exchange does not provide its own swap interface and that its pools can be accessed through DEX aggregators on Monad. A user can therefore submit a trade through another application while using Capricorn liquidity behind the scenes.MEV Revenue, Use Cases, and RisksMEV describes the additional economic value that can arise from including and ordering transactions within blocks. Arbitrage trades that exploit price differences and attempts to move ahead of particular transactions are different examples within this area.Capricorn aims to connect MEV revenue with its staking system and make transaction flow more orderly. Success depends on the infrastructure, validators, and actual market activity; a fixed additional return cannot be assumed for every period.Classifying order flow is another part of this approach. According to the project, its models try to distinguish trade types using historical transactions and price movements; these assessments are probabilistic and do not guarantee a perfect result for every trade. The technical documentation also discloses a detail relevant to security assessments. The PAMM pool contract is open-source and immutable, while its pricing engine is closed-source; an administrator can change the engine’s address subject to specific version-control conditions. This distinction shows why a review should extend beyond the pool contract alone. The reliability of price data, administrator permissions, and other DeFi applications used alongside the protocol also affect a user’s exposure to risk.Using aprMON as collateral in a lending application is one example. Even if the application supports it, collateral requirements and liquidation conditions still apply; earning staking rewards does not prevent a borrowing position from being liquidated. The APR Token and Its TokenomicsAPR is Capricorn’s ecosystem token. Its official introduction connects the token with community participation, incentives, and coordination within the network.Buying APR and staking MON to receive aprMON create different economic positions. APR investors are exposed to the token’s market price, while aprMON users hold an asset representing their share of MON in the staking vault. aprMON staking screen Growth in Capricorn’s trading volume therefore does not automatically generate direct income for APR holders. Such a connection requires clearly defined revenue-sharing mechanisms, eligibility conditions, and supporting contracts. The reviewed token introduction does not confirm that all APR holders receive regular exchange fees or MEV revenue. An incentive budget should not be interpreted as an unconditional payment to everyone holding the token in a wallet.Token Supply, Allocation, and UnlocksThe official documentation states a total supply of 1 billion APR. The following table shows the initial allocation described in that document; it does not show the current circulating supply or present-day wallet ownership.Allocation categoryShareAPR amountEarly backers16%160 millionCore contributors16%160 millionFoundation16%160 millionGenesis airdrop12%120 millionCommunity incentives22%220 millionEcosystem growth17%170 millionLiquidity and market stability1%10 millionThe initial plan set a three-year schedule with a one-year cliff for the investor allocation. For core contributors, it specified a four-year schedule with a one-year cliff. An allocation table alone does not reveal how many tokens will be sold in the future. An unlock makes tokens available for use; it does not establish that recipients will sell all of them or none of them. For the same reason, calculating current unlock amounts from the initial schedule can be misleading without checking subsequent changes. An assessment of current supply requires reviewing new official announcements alongside on-chain movements.APR Price History and Factors Affecting Its PriceOne verifiable starting point in APR’s trading history is its Binance Alpha launch on October 23, 2025. A listing announcement alone, however, does not establish the token’s first trading price or its all-time high.Price-history analysis should also include data recorded under the former aPriori name. Treating the rebrand as a new token launch could exclude earlier chart data and lead to inaccurate return calculations.Potential supply entering circulation, buyer demand, and market depth all matter when assessing APR’s price. A price available for a small order does not establish that an order of a different size will execute at the same level. For example, if a small token purchase pushes the price up significantly, the displayed market capitalization can rise without an equivalent amount of money entering the market. Market capitalization is calculated by multiplying circulating supply by the latest price; it does not represent the amount of cash holders could collectively withdraw. To assess product usage, readers can track staked MON, pool depth, trading volume, and user behavior after incentives end. These measures help explain demand for the products, while the sources of demand for APR require separate analysis.Leverage in futures markets can also amplify short-term movements. When product announcements, changes in token supply, and speculative trading coincide, attributing a price move to a single cause does not provide a sound assessment. As of October 2026, APR coin price is around $0.13. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)Below are answers to some frequently asked questions about Capricorn:What is Capricorn, and how is it connected to aPriori?: Capricorn is the continuation of aPriori, focusing on liquid staking and decentralized exchange infrastructure. Standard Chartered’s 2030 Price Targets for 4 Altcoins
Geoffrey Kendrick, Standard Chartered’s head of digital assets research, discussed four projects that could benefit from traditional finance moving onto blockchain networks. Speaking on Milk Road’s October 1 episode, Kendrick identified Uniswap, Aave, Morpho and Arbitrum as projects well positioned for this shift. The 2030 price targets discussed in the interview were $100 for UNI, $3,500 for AAVE, $60 for MORPHO and $10 for ARB. Kendrick outlined the reasoning behind his previously published forecasts and the conditions needed to reach those targets.Tokenization could bring new demand to DeFi protocolsKendrick’s outlook centers on tokenization, which allows financial assets to be represented on a blockchain. According to the analyst, institutional adoption could increase the value of assets held onchain while expanding the use of decentralized finance applications. This approach places greater importance on fee revenue and cash flows when assessing projects. Kendrick focuses on protocols that can capture a share of financial institutions’ onchain activity, defend their competitive advantages and pass the economic value they generate through to their tokens.Standard Chartered previously projected that the stablecoin market would reach $2 trillion by the end of 2028. The bank also forecasts $2 trillion in tokenized real-world assets, excluding stablecoins, by the same date; together, the two categories would represent a $4 trillion market.Uniswap’s $100 target may be too lowKendrick believes his previously established 2030 target for Uniswap could prove too conservative. The platform’s deep liquidity and token-burning mechanism are central to that view.According to the analyst, a platform with strong liquidity has an advantage in attracting new users and trading activity. As trading volumes for tokenized assets grow, Uniswap’s ability to serve that demand becomes increasingly important for UNI.Kendrick also notes that buybacks and burns linked to trading fees can translate platform growth into value for the token. However, he did not replace the $100 target with a new forecast during the interview; he pointed to potential upside beyond his existing projection.Aave and Morpho address different financial needsThe 2030 target for AAVE stands at $3,500. Kendrick compares Aave to an onchain banking business, while describing Morpho as a platform serving asset managers. This distinction shows that he does not view the two projects’ growth as mutually exclusive. In his assessment, lending services and asset management infrastructure can meet different needs within the same ecosystem.Standard Chartered initiated coverage of Morpho on July 1 with a $60 price target for the end of 2030. Alongside Morpho’s lending market, the bank sees its vault infrastructure as an important part of the growth outlook. These vaults allow asset managers to offer different strategies onchain. The bank’s long-term expectations depend particularly on capital flowing into this infrastructure from traditional financial institutions.Arbitrum’s revenue growth must translate into token valueThe $10 target for ARB by the end of 2030 rests on the opportunity to provide blockchain infrastructure to financial institutions. In its September analysis, Standard Chartered highlighted Robinhood Chain as a key example supporting this growth outlook.During the Milk Road interview, Kendrick explained that Arbitrum could benefit from the expansion of tokenized equities. However, how the network’s economic success would translate into value for ARB holders remained an unresolved issue.Kendrick noted that revenue currently does not flow directly into token buybacks and burns. He said he would welcome the introduction of such a mechanism in the future; the $10 target therefore reflects expectations for both revenue growth and the transfer of value to the token.

Crypto This Week: 30 Events in Focus as Fed Minutes Take Center Stage
Crypto this week began with Bitcoin trading at around $85,500 and Ether near $2,700. The Federal Reserve’s September meeting minutes, the Reserve Bank of India’s interest-rate decision and oil prices above $100 form the core of the macroeconomic agenda. The crypto calendar features approximately $337.5 million in scheduled HYPE unlocks and $40.9 million in ENA unlocks. Binance, Bybit and Robinhood will discontinue several products, while three validator-dependent XRP Ledger upgrades could take effect.Fed minutes will shape expectations for OctoberThe Fed raised its target rate by 25 basis points to 3.75%–4% on September 16. All members supported the decision, which marked the US central bank’s first rate increase since 2023.Minutes from the meeting will be published on Wednesday, October 7, at 9:00 p.m. Türkiye time. Investors will examine how policymakers assessed energy-driven inflation risks and whether they disagreed over the timing of the next increase.US nonfarm payrolls rose by only 29,000 in September. The result fell well below the Reuters poll forecast of around 90,000 and reduced the market-implied probability of an October rate increase to approximately 18%–20%.The US services outlook will come into focus with the ISM services PMI on Monday, October 5, at 5:00 p.m. Türkiye time. The index is expected to ease to 55 from 55.4 in August, with a reading above 50 indicating continued expansion. The University of Michigan’s preliminary October consumer sentiment index will follow on Friday, October 9, at 5:00 p.m. Türkiye time. The consensus forecast points to a decline from approximately 48.2 in September to 47.7.India is expected to raise interest ratesThe Reserve Bank of India’s Monetary Policy Committee will meet from October 5 to 7. Its interest-rate decision will be announced on Wednesday, October 7, at 7:30 a.m. Türkiye time.Thirty-five of the 61 economists surveyed by Reuters expect the RBI to raise its repo rate by 25 basis points to 5.50%. Such a decision would mark the central bank’s first increase in nearly four years.High oil prices, broader inflationary pressure and weakness in the rupee support expectations for tighter policy. The decision could influence emerging-market currencies and global risk appetite. The European Central Bank will publish the account of its September 9–10 meeting on Thursday, October 8, at 2:30 p.m. Türkiye time. Investors will look for discussions about energy prices, growth risks and the direction of upcoming rate decisions.Canada’s September employment report will arrive on Friday, October 9, at 3:30 p.m. Türkiye time. Statistics Canada says the report will reflect labour-market conditions during the week of September 13–19.Oil remains above $100Brent crude started the week at around $101.60 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate traded near $90.10. The G7’s decision to release 100 million barrels of oil and fuel from emergency reserves has limited prices, although attacks around the Strait of Hormuz continue to support a geopolitical risk premium.Middle Eastern crude exports exceeded pre-war levels on several days, even as authorities recorded at least seven new attacks on vessels in the region. Persistently high energy costs could encourage central banks to maintain tighter monetary policy for longer.Oil-driven inflation can affect Bitcoin through interest rates and government bond yields. Markets will monitor the speed of the G7 reserve release and the security of Gulf shipping routes.Russia’s crypto registration rules take effectThe Bank of Russia’s new registration regulations for the cryptocurrency market take effect on October 5. Crypto exchanges, digital depositories and operators of systems used to issue digital financial rights will need to join the relevant official registers. The rules establish qualification requirements for executives, the necessary application documents and the central bank’s registration process. Existing market participants will also have access to a simplified application route. In the US, the investment adviser and fund custody proposal announced last week does not have a new effective date within the coming seven days. The comment period for the SEC’s broader Regulation Crypto Assets proposal will remain open until October 20.Binance, Bybit and Robinhood will discontinue tradingBinance will automatically settle and delist the PROMPTUSDT, PUMPBTCUSDT and 1000000BOBUSDT perpetual contracts on Monday, October 5, at noon Türkiye time. The exchange will prevent users from opening new positions in these contracts from 11:30 a.m.Bybit will close deposits for SCOR and AGI on October 7 at 11:00 a.m. Türkiye time. Trading in the SCOR/USDT and AGI/USDT spot pairs, along with Convert support, will end on October 8 at 11:00 a.m.Robinhood Europe will disable sales of BERA, EOS, PAXG and TIA on Friday, October 9, at 10:00 p.m. Türkiye time. The platform will automatically sell remaining BERA and TIA balances at market prices because withdrawals are unavailable for these assets.EOS and PAXG withdrawals will remain available until October 14, placing the next stage of their delisting process outside this weekly calendar. No major new spot listing or high-profile token launch had been confirmed at the time of preparation.Three XRP Ledger upgrades could activateThe XRP Ledger’s PermissionDelegationV1_1 amendment could activate on Friday, October 9, at approximately 12:25 a.m. Türkiye time, provided validator support remains above the required threshold. The feature will let accounts delegate limited permissions without sharing the private keys controlling their funds. The projected activation time for fixBatchV1_2 is 5:12 p.m. on the same day. Servers that fail to upgrade to the security-focused xrpld 3.4.1 release could become amendment-blocked and lose synchronisation with the network.BatchV1_1 is expected to activate at around 5:46 p.m. Türkiye time. The feature will allow users to bundle and submit up to eight transactions together, enabling use cases such as atomic swaps. All three dates depend on validator support remaining above 80% for the full required period. If support falls to or below the threshold, the 14-day countdown will restart and the activation dates will change.HYPE and ENA supply will expandCurrent Tokenomist data show that HYPE and ENA account for most of the week’s major one-time token unlocks. All dollar values are approximate because they were calculated using spot prices available during preparation.Ethena will release approximately 172.7 million ENA to core contributors on October 5. At an ENA price of around $0.237, the unlock is worth approximately $40.9 million and represents about 1.88% of the reported supply measure.Hyperliquid’s scheduled HYPE unlock for core contributors on October 6 is worth approximately $337.5 million. A spot price near $90 puts the scheduled amount at around 3.75 million HYPE.Tokenomist displays a mismatch between the scheduled unlock and the broader committed vesting figure for the same event. This calendar uses the narrower $337.5 million scheduled value, while the amount that becomes claimable or moves on-chain could differ.Aerodrome will release approximately $3.53 million in AERO on October 8. Aptos’s roughly $9.13 million APT unlock on October 11 will be joined by approximately $4.29 million in PEAQ and $2.7 million in IO.The PEAQ unlock stands out with a reported ratio of 3.73%. The io.net schedule shows that approximately 15.88 million IO will become available on October 11.Applied Digital will report earningsApplied Digital, which has shifted from blockchain workloads toward artificial intelligence and high-performance data-centre infrastructure, will report its fiscal first-quarter results on October 7. Bullish Bitcoin Bets Build as Dominance Nears 60%
Risk appetite strengthened across the crypto market as Bitcoin reached $86,500. Bitcoin’s share of total cryptocurrency market capitalization approached 60%, while growing derivatives positions highlighted traders’ bullish expectations. However, the recovery in leverage also brought potential losses from a price reversal into focus.Bitcoin open interest rises by $2.3 billionAccording to CoinGlass data, Bitcoin open interest increased from approximately 626,000 BTC to 653,000 BTC starting September 30. That represents an additional 27,000 BTC, worth roughly $2.3 billion, in outstanding positions. The increase of approximately 4.3% brought total open interest to $56.2 billion. Over the same period, Bitcoin’s price climbed from around $83,500 to $86,500.Open interest measures the total number of outstanding futures contracts that have not yet been closed or settled. An increase alongside rising prices suggests new positions are accompanying the rally; it does not, on its own, mean all those positions are bullish.Funding rates reflect bullish expectationsRising funding rates in perpetual futures also indicate that buyers are taking on more risk. When funding is positive, traders holding long positions pay those holding short positions.Higher funding may suggest that traders are willing to bear greater costs to maintain their bullish positions. However, the recovery in open interest followed levels seen in late September that were close to a one-year low.The starting point therefore matters when assessing the recent increase. More expensive long positions can leave leveraged traders more vulnerable to a sudden price decline.Bitcoin’s market share approaches 60%Bitcoin’s dominance also stood out in the spot market. The largest cryptocurrency’s share of total market capitalization approached 60%, while the share held by dollar-pegged USDT slipped to approximately 6.3%. This pattern may suggest that investors are becoming more comfortable taking risks. However, a decline in USDT’s market share does not, by itself, show how much money has left stablecoins; rising valuations elsewhere in the crypto market can also push the ratio lower.Several altcoins joined Bitcoin’s advance. Ethereum, XRP, Solana and BNB rose, while SKY, AAVE and APT stood out among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, gaining between 7% and 10%.The picture shows that rising altcoin prices and increasing Bitcoin dominance can occur simultaneously. Because dominance measures relative market capitalization, faster growth in Bitcoin’s value can increase its share even as other assets post gains.U.S. employment data falls short of expectationsThe market activity began before the release of the U.S. employment report on October 2. The subsequent figures showed that nonfarm payrolls increased by 29,000 in September, below expectations of 90,000.The unemployment rate rose from 4.1% to 4.2%. August’s payroll gain was also revised down from 162,000 to 133,000.The weaker employment picture was viewed as potentially giving the Federal Reserve room to hold interest rates steady despite elevated inflation. Alongside strengthening crypto demand, the direction of monetary policy therefore remained in focus for investors.

Bitcoin Returns to $87,000 as U.S. Jobs Growth Misses Expectations
Bitcoin climbed back to $87,000 after U.S. employment data fell short of expectations. Nonfarm payrolls increased by 29,000 in September, while the unemployment rate stood at 4.2%.The figures, released on Friday, October 2, at 8:30 a.m. ET, weakened expectations for another Fed rate hike in October. Bitcoin extended its earlier gains in the first few minutes after the release. U.S. job growth reaches roughly one-third of expectationsThe U.S. economy added 29,000 nonfarm jobs in September. The figure fell 60,000 short of the 89,000 forecast listed on the economic calendar followed for this report.Job growth therefore amounted to roughly one-third of expectations. The figures showed that hiring continued, although at a considerably slower pace than anticipated. The unemployment rate also exceeded the 4.1% forecast, reaching 4.2%. Together with slower hiring, this reinforced the labor market’s importance in monetary policy assessments.Previous figures also saw a downward revision. According to the Financial Times, August’s payroll gain was revised from the initially reported 162,000 to 133,000.The report therefore brought more than a disappointing September figure. The August revision also showed that the previous month’s hiring performance was weaker than initially reported.Bitcoin reaches $87,000 after the releaseBitcoin was trading above $86,000 before the jobs report. At that point, its gain over the previous 24 hours was approximately 2%.According to the first price update after the release, Bitcoin returned to $87,000 at 8:32 a.m. ET. The rally that began before the report continued immediately afterward. This distinction matters when assessing the price movement. Bitcoin’s entire daily gain did not occur after the jobs report; the cryptocurrency was already rising ahead of the release. The $87,000 level reflects the initial reaction to the data. Subsequent buying and selling will determine whether the price can hold that level.Expectations for an October Fed rate hike weakenU.S. short-term interest rate futures rose after the weaker-than-expected employment figures. Traders reduced positions anticipating an additional Fed rate hike in October. For the crypto market, the key connection was the employment outlook’s effect on interest rate expectations. Weaker hiring brings renewed attention to the potential economic consequences of further monetary tightening.A lower probability of rate hikes could ease pressure on risk assets. Bitcoin’s initial reaction suggests that investors may have interpreted the report along those lines. However, reduced expectations for a rate hike do not automatically translate into expectations for a rate cut. Markets could also place greater weight on a scenario in which the Fed holds rates steady.A single employment report does not determine the Fed’s decision. Inflation trends, wage developments and economic activity remain relevant to its policy assessment.Crypto markets watch for further gainsThe initial price movement showed Bitcoin’s continued sensitivity to macroeconomic data. Subsequent trading will reveal how strongly the shift in interest rate expectations translates into demand for crypto assets.
