Zk-SNARK

Zk-SNARK is the abbreviation of the concept of Zero-Knowledge Succinct Non-Interactive Argument of Knowledge.

While this cryptographic protocol allows a user to prove possession of information, it does not reveal anything about the actual information itself. This speeds up verification processes and provides scalability across blockchains while preserving privacy. Zk-SNARKs are used in applications that require privacy and security, especially on blockchains. Zk-SNARKs are used in applications that require privacy and security, especially on blockchains. This protocol solves scalability problems in blockchains such as Ethereum by increasing transaction efficiency. For example, Zk-SNARKs represent transaction data in a compact way, taking up less space on the chain and speeding up transaction verification. Thus, it becomes possible to integrate more transactions into the blockchain and increase the performance of the network.
