Real World Assets (RWA)
Real World Assets (RWA) include real estate, works of art, financial instruments, and other tangible assets that are represented as digital assets using blockchain technology.
Real World Assets (RWA) refer to the tokenization of various real-world assets in the crypto ecosystem, from stablecoins pegged to fiat currencies to real estate and works of art. This means that assets are represented on the blockchain and can be bought and sold digitally. Practical applications of RWA can be seen in the real estate sector with the tokenization of assets such as apartments, commercial offices and vacation homes. Additionally, transferring artworks and collectibles to the blockchain as NFTs is also an example of RWA. Besides this, tokenization of other assets such as gold, silver, stocks, and bonds also fall under the RWA category, giving investors access to a wider range of assets in the crypto world.
